국내 대기업의 미국 현지 법인의 스마트 시티 관련 신사업기획 팀장을 아래와 같이 찾고 있습니다.

We are seeking a highly experienced and well-connected Director of Smart City Sales & Business Development to lead and expand the presence in the U.S. Smart City market, with a primary focus on government partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement & Sales Execution
  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with key customers, including government agencies, municipalities, transportation authorities, and private enterprises.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to showcase the value of smart poles, transportation solutions (AFC, ITS), and smart building technologies.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to refine messaging and sales collateral for different customer segments.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in both public and private sectors.
  • Oversee and manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure.
 
2. Team Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Build, develop, and manage a high-performing sales and business development team, including: 
    • Sales Representatives
    • Technical Sales Engineers
    • Partnership Managers
    • Project Managers & Post-Sales Support
  • Lead hiring efforts, including interviewing candidates, onboarding new hires, and setting up new teams to support growth.
  • Define team roles, assign tasks, and set clear performance metrics to track progress.
  • Establish and oversee an employee performance evaluation framework to drive productivity and accountability.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities and sales effectiveness.
 
3. Strategic Planning & Communication with Headquarters
  • Work closely with the Korean headquarters to develop and execute market entry and expansion strategies.
  • Align business goals with headcount planning, ensuring that hiring and resourcing match the company’s growth targets.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership and key stakeholders, summarizing sales performance, market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Ensure seamless communication between the U.S. and Korean teams, bridging cultural and operational differences.
 
4. Partnership Development & Contract Management
  • Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships to enhance the company’s market presence.
  • Engage with C-level executives, industry leaders, and government officials to explore collaboration opportunities.
  • Negotiate, review, and finalize contracts, MOUs, and partnership agreements to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Stay informed on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and public sector procurement processes.
 
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in Smart City, transportation technology, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of closing large deals and scaling sales operations.
  • Established network in Smart City technologies, public sector contracts, and enterprise IT solutions.
  • Experience in building and leading cross-functional sales and technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in smart infrastructure, transportation (AFC, ITS), and smart buildings.
  • Ability to work seamlessly with international teams, bridging cultural and operational differences.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Background in government contracting, public sector sales, or infrastructure technology.
